The Division of Biomedical Informatics has several staff who provide support for Macintosh desktops and Linux servers.
Linux support
BMI is committed to assisting Linux users at CCRF as much as possible. We have 300+ Linux servers that are being used by research community in and around CCHMC. We have certified/trained support staff that can help you get started with Linux and make sure your applications run in Linux efficiently.
If you have questions or need support, email the BMI Help Desk.
Mac support
We are committed to ensuring that Macintosh users at CCRF receive the resources and support they need. The Cincinnati Children's Department of Information Services maintains a web site dedicated to basic Mac support (accessible only from the Cincinnati Children's network). In addition, BMI maintains a mailing list for CCRF Mac users.
If you have a Mac-related issue that is not answered on the Information Services support site, or if you have technology needs unique to the Mac, email the BMI Help Desk.
