Database Servers

The Division of Biomedical Informatics supports several database systems including  Microsoft® SQL Server®, MySQL, Oracle®  and PostgreSQL. Support includes regular patching, backups, disaster recovery, auditing, and monitoring. 

SQL Server Infrastructure

SQL Server infrastructure includes development, testing, staging and production servers. Following SQL Server Editions are available in active/passive cluster mode.

SQL Server Enterprise Edition - Versions 2014 and Above
SQL Server Standard Edition - Versions 2014 and Above

Oracle Infrastructure

Oracle  infrastructure includes development, testing, staging and production servers. We are currently running Oracle 12c in RAC (Real Application Clusters) and RAC One-Node Enterprise setup.

MySQL Infrastructure

MySQL infrastructure includes development, testing, staging and production servers. We are currently running MySQL Enterprise 5.6.35 using ScaleArc for Clustering and Load Balancing.

PostgreSQL Infrastructure

PostgreSQL infrastructure includes development, testing, and production servers. We are currently running PostgreSQL 9.6.2.
