The Division of Biomedical Informatics has several staff who provide support for Macintosh, Linux and Solaris desktops and servers.

Mac support

We are committed to ensuring that Macintosh users at CCRF receive the resources and support they need. The Cincinnati Children's Department of Information Services maintains a web site dedicated to basic Mac support (accessible only from the Cincinnati Children's network). In addition, BMI maintains a mailing list for CCRF Mac users.

If you have a Mac-related issue that is not answered on the Information Services support site, or if you have technology needs unique to the Mac, email the BMI Help Desk.

Linux/Solaris support

BMI also is committed to assisting Linux and Solaris users at CCRF as much as possible. We have several Linux and Solaris web servers available. We also are in the process of assembling a knowledge base for power users. Continue to check this page for updates.
