Installing EndNote on Mac OS X
Instructions for installing EndNote on Mac OS X.
Summary
- Mount the mac software volume of the researchsoftware server.
- Go to the EndNote folder, and double-click the disk image file.
- Drag the EndNote folder from the installer window to your Applications folder.
- Launch EndNote and complete the Customizer wizard.
1. Log in to the research software server, and open the mac software volume.
2. Double-click the EndNote folder:
3. Double-click EndNote X2 Site Installer.dmg:
The installer window opens:
4. Drag the EndNote X2 folder from the installer window into the Applications folder on your hard drive:
A new window appears, indicating that the files are being copied to your hard drive:
5. When all of the files have been copied, close all open windows except your Applications folder.
6. Go to your Applications folder, open the EndNote folder, and double-click the EndNote X2 application file:
The EndNote X2 Customizer wizard launches.
7. At the welcome screen, click Next:
8. At the Read Me screen, click Next:
9. At the Palm Read Me screen, click Next:
A progress indicator appears:
10. To close the wizard and complete the installation, click Done:
EndNote launches and is ready for use.
